Episode 216 The 33 Listeners Choice
A sappy, overly sentimental telling of the 2010 Chilean mining disaster that trapped (you guessed it) 33 men underground for 69 days. Antonio Banderas heads the cast and chews as much scenery as possible. Even Juliette Binoche is in this film, playing a role that was originally supposed to go to Jennifer Lopez. That part got elevated quite a bit in casting, but is still prone to hysterics. New guest host Rollie is on the show today to promote a re-imagining of this important story at the Annoyance Theater in NYC. Listen to the episode for more information!
