Episode 219 Keanu
Key and Peele are an Emmy-nominated comedy duo who performed on Comedy Central and won a legion fans on their YouTube channel. Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele are extremely talented, funny guys. Keanu, their big screen debut does not measure up. The flimsy story involves Key and Peele searching for the titular cat that was abducted by gangsters. Yes, cats are cute and gangsters are scary, and the thought of scary gangsters fawning over cute cats is an absurdity. But you need more in a film. The film is also full of scenes where very little happens to advance the plot, but they are included seemingly to fill out the films running time. Andrew and Phil were not impressed.
