Episode 319 The Foreigner
Andrew and Phil spar over the relative merits of this popcorn flick. Should there be more Jackie Chan? Does it really deserve its abysmal Metascore? The Foreigner was billed as a Jackie Chan movie, although hes overshadowed by Pierce Brosnans prodigious turn as Liam Hennessey, the Irish government official with a checkered past. Phil wanted more Jackie, while Andrew contends that the martial arts legend simply doesnt have the energy to dazzle like he used to. But Chan is such a likable presence he could do almost anything and his fans would be pleased.
