Returning champion Criss brings the original Petes Dragon to ITQ. This rollicking musical meld of animation and live action was a childhood staple of many, but this is the first viewing for Phil of the 1977 Disney classic. The story concerns a boy fleeing his abusive adopted family with the company of his fire-breathing dragon pal, who has the power to turn invisible. Together they discover Helen Reddy and Mickey Rooney and a lighthouse lamp that needs igniting. What could be better? Throw in some toe-tapping tunes, Red Buttons and dated alcoholism humor and youve got a throwback treat for the millennial generation.
